Recommendations
"I feel like I am giving everyone in my class the ability to participate in the poses in a way that makes them feel comfortable, challenged, and safe at the same time."
Kena Wiggins

"Brilliant workshop — your sense of humour and 'way' about you — opened my experience and help make it 'real'."
Helen Davis
Kripalu Yoga Instructor
"I liked the breadth and scope of this workshop very much. I arrived feeling very nervous about teaching seniors, but am leaving with
confidence that I will be able to create classes that can help seniors lead healthier lives. The yoga sessions were informative and helpful, and Jean's teaching, guidance and ability to lead the class into this new territory is wonderful. Her obvious love of what she is doing transmitted itself to us all — this was informative, immensely helpful, and most enjoyable. I wouldn't change a thing."
"P.S. I very much appreciate the wonderful manual and all the helpful hints."

Feedback from participants

I took Jean's workshop this past winter. I always thought that I was very aware of what I wanted in life, but Jean's Thursday night gatherings really encouraged me to focus on making time to go within to discover what I truly wanted. Jean encourages us to start with one to three heart's desires. I will share my desires (from Jan '07) with you.
1. Better finances
2. Better health
3. Work towards getting my first home

|

(Continued)
The workshop doesn't just help you see what you desire most, it helps you see what is standing in your way and what you can do to move forward.
In the months since we completed the session, I paid off my overdraft, opened a savings account, paid more on my credit card (and used it less) and was happily surprised with an $8,000 raise at work.
With regards to my health, the pounds are coming off slowly, I am more active, I participate in charity walks of 5 or 10 km. Overall, I take better care of my body and with my appearance. The final desire of getting my first home is still on the list, but I am more content now in the time it's taking before that dream becomes a reality.
Did I learn from this workshop? Yes! I needed this weekly workshop to get to know myself a little better.
Would I recommend it? Absolutely! You may even see me in the next Winter session, as I hope to dig deeper to find out what's next on my list of heart's desires.
Thanks Jean for your guidance throughout the session and beyond. You are doing a wonderful thing. I am grateful for the lessons learned from you and from Sonia Choquette's book.

-------------------------------------------------
I heartily recommend the workshop Jean has put together around Sonia Choquette's work. Because it is done over a series of weeks, in a supportive group, the actual clearing process is done; clearing of priorities, clutter, old habits and patterns. What stands in one's way becomes apparent. There is time to see how new attitudes, behaviours and intentions create desirable change. It was quite amazing what happened in our little group over the weeks. Jean is kind and forthright and her willingness to share examples from her own life's experience help immensely in ways even she cannot imagine.
Working this way inspires imaginative solutions to effortlessly Create Your Heart's Desire. It really works!
